I started as a design engineer and worked on a wide variety of structures including new build, refurbishment, residential and commercial. I consulted on all aspects of the job from attending client meeting to completing fees proposals. My performance working as a consultant led to the promotion to senior engineer. I took full responsibility for the resourcing of my jobs and ensuring that works were completed on time. Notable Project:Buckingham Green, London Project Value ~£100mThe key concept can be summarized as refurbishment of 17 storey tower including new penetrations, strengthening of existing core walls, demolition and redevelopment two adjacent building, all three being supported on an existing raft foundation. Show less Notable Project:John Lewis, Leeds Project Value ~£60mThe new build RC frame building with 5 levels of primary retail space with total Gross Internal Area of 255,000 square feet. Three main RC cores located at the perimeter of the building serve the building. A central atrium organizes the vertical circulation is crowned by a roof light. Building incorporates a rooftop restaurant and is cladded with diamond shaped precast concrete panels. Behind the cladding element and arranged on the same diamond grid are the steel perimeter diagonal columns. Show less
