Within the context of a LEED Existing Buildings: Operations and Maintenance project, the recommissioning of the building produced spectacular results representing 1,497,222 kWh energy savings and approximately $ 90,600 in reduced annual energy operating cost. The building attained LEED EBOM Gold with the largest contribution of points from the Recommissioning credits. It is noteworthy that it is the oldest building in Canada to achieve such a rating. A massive success all around. Without the passion and motivation of the building owner, David Gold, the project would not have occurred. Kudos to him and his building operators. Show less
