  As as Student Ambassador, I gave campus and accommodation tours during both Open Days, Visit Days and to individual prospective students.I also took part in a significant project which was to re-write the Student Life Talk, which is given to prospective students and their families during Open and Visit Days. I was part of a small six member team of Student Ambassadors and over the course of three months we updated the Talk.As a Student Ambassador I developed my presentation skills, my confidence and my interpersonal skills. I developed a very good relationship with both the other ambassadors and the student recruitment team. Show less As the International Meet Sec, I had two main roles in committee: organising the annual ULMC international trip and taking care of the publicity and marketing for the society. Organising the trip to Fontainebleau, France, involved reserving the campsite, the minibuses, gear van, as well as the ferry pass. It also meant that I was responsible for the trip and those partaking in it.The publicity and marketing aspect of the role involved designing and ordering all of the club merchandise as well as the promotional material needed for key university events. I also took part in all committee duties, such as supervising training or climbing sessions and weekend trips away.It was a very demanding role but extremely enjoyable nonetheless. Show less

  As a Marketing Intern, I had several responsibilities. Firstly I was responsible for organising brand presence at internal and external events (e.g.: BSACI, BSPGHAN, RCGP). Throughout the year, the internally organised events reached 600+ customers, and the external conferences reached 4,000+ customers.Each event involved liaising with the medical and regulatory teams to create event specific materials, as well as ordering literature, product samples and stands.Secondly, I managed all of the marketing material stock for the brand. This meant checking monthly how much stock we had left for each marketing material (used by the Sales team and at events), and then estimating which items needed reordering.I was also responsible for tracking all of the A&P spend for the brand. This involved raising and GR'ing (when appropriate) POs. These POs also needed to be tracked on a spreadsheet which then needed to be reconciled each month to ensure we weren't over or underspending in that month.I was also the content manager for the development of an app, and was part of the launch team once the app had been completed and launched. II was a key member in the launch team of a new product. I organised three launch and training days, and created supporting materials to engage the sales team and other internal colleagues with the launch of the product. Finally I developed a recipe book for a product and was the lead on the creation and execution of a new sample pack. Show less
