  I am the official accompanist to Cardiff male choir - my role involves coaching individuals of the choir, performing in concerts as both accompanist and soloist and I am the assistant conductor to the choir when such duties are called upon.

  "All that Malarkey" Classical Cabaret Ensemble

  I am responsible for the musical arrangements, musical teaching and directing, as well as piano accompaniment (and conductor when we perform with orchestra or big band) to the "All that Malarkey" Classical Cabaret ensemble. Collaborating with the singers, we determine suitable and exciting repertoire to cover, and using my years of classical composition training, I produce state-of-the-art fresh vocal arrangements of a wealth of musical genre and style. I direct the ensemble to produce our unique operatic/musical theatre blend, and offer direction to the look and physical performance style of the group. I am also the compere and presenter of our entertainment shows -We are currently touring the UK after our success at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival performing at:Goodwood House, St. Paul's Covent Garden, Wales Millennium Centre, Leeds Castle, Cardiff Castle, Chichester, Portsmouth, Glasgow and London.   I currently provide a professional service to a number of loyal clients, that involves the production of fresh scores and new interpretations of existing music. A range of students, professionals, Musical theatre artists and Company managers regularly employ me to produce a fast service of arrangements (from Pop songs to Classical reworkings - e.g. "Claire de Lune" for String trio) - musical show scorings - audition song transcriptions - wedding music - ensemble arrangements for various instrument groups, and including full orchestrations for chamber and symphony-sized orchestras.Clients have included Katherine Jenkins, Aled Jones, Shirley Bassey, Only Men Aloud, Cory Brass Band.   I have provided a number of concert works for this talented and vibrant ensemble - as well as leading rehearsals, conducting and recording the ensemble. My first commission from the ensemble, entitled "A Welsh Blessing", won the Philip Jones Brass Ensemble prize in 2010.
