  PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) – DAOP 8 Surabaya is Indonesia’s state-owned railway company that operates freight logistics services across regions, including UPT Terminal Kalimas, where freight train operations such as arrival, unloading, and scheduling are managed.As a Data & System Analyst Intern, I:• Designed and developed an automated train delay logging system using Microsoft Excel and VBA, featuring multi-select dropdowns, real-time validation, and automatic cause-weighting.• Processed and analyzed over 120 delay records based on the 2025 Terminal Waiting Time (WTT) data for both container and fuel freight trains, structured into annual and periodic recaps.• Created dynamic pie and bar charts to visualize delay distributions and frequencies, enabling clearer insights for operational evaluation.• Delivered regular project presentations to field supervisors, administrative staff, and on-site checkers, incorporating their feedback into system revisions.• Participated in fieldwork activities including twist lock inspections, cargo documentation reviews, and observation of data entry procedures within the Rail Cargo System (RCS).• Drafted a five-chapter final report and completed all validation, approval, and submission processes with both the company and academic supervisors.
