      I undertook the Role of Senior Administration Officer for the Security Section of GCSS, which worked to the relevant British standards in the Security Industry and was involved in the process for us to gain SIA, approved Contractor Status. I was a lead sponsor on behalf of GCSS for the SIA which allowed me to process and manage SIA Licensing for staff. As part of this role I completed BS7858 Security Screening Course which allowed me to screen staff in accordance with the relevant standard.I assisted the Operations Manager of the service in ensuring a high standard of service delivery, and provided support during Internal and external Audits. I had to work with specialised computer programmes which reported to clients on the work being carried out on a monthly/quarterly basis by security. Other Daily tasks carried out included:  Supervising a small team of admin staff.  Overseeing word processing, including record keeping, correspondence and reports Compiling reports/KPI figures on a monthly basis  Overseeing Mail and photocopying duties Overseeing the recording of annual leave, sickness etc. Dealing effectively with telephone enquiries and visitors to GCSS. Liaising with management and other staff involved in the service. As well as working for Security Services I also provided administrative support to other departments within the company which involved booking all travel/accommodation for staff members.  Organised management meetings and attending these meetings to take minutes.       Undertaking the role of Systems Administrator in an Alarm Receiving Centre(ARC) which had National Security Inspectorate (NSI) ARC Gold Accreditation for the monitoring of Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarms and Lone Worker Devices in accordance with the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2008, NSI SSQS 102, BS5979:2007, BS848:2011 and BS7858:2006. I gained BIIAB award in CCTV Operations (Public Space Surveillance) (Scotland) at SCQF Level 6, and acquired my Security Industry Authority (SIA) CCTV Badge. Supported ARC Management Team during NSI Audits and internal audits to ensure compliance with the relevant British Standards, and updated Quality Management System as required. I was the lead sponsor on behalf of my company for the SIA which allowed me to process and manage SIA Licensing for staff. I have a sound knowledge in Sentinel Plus monitoring software for which I managed the set-up, updates, removal and security of users. I also programmed new sites and signalling of alarms. Assisted in updating systems following new version releases. Coordinated and delivered systems training to staff and end users where necessary, and carried out user evaluations to ensure that all staff met the required level of performance.Analysed systems logs and provided reports to management and clients as required. I had the responsibility for the selection and recruitment of all ARC staff.I was responsible for the production of the ARC Quality Manual which contained all processes and procedures required by ARC staff to complete daily tasks in accordance with British Standards. I created yearly rotas and dealt with all issues relating to attendance and absence management.On a day to day basis I was responsible for the co-ordination and delivery of systems training to staff and carried out user evaluations to ensure all staff were meeting the required levels of performance. I was responsible for the analysis of ARC data and production of reports which were sent to external clients and senior management. On a day to day basis I overseen the running of the ARC to ensure all documentation was kept up to date for audit purposes. I was the main contact for the ARC and met regularly with external clients to ensure Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators were met. Show less
