      -Worked full-time as the team Equipment Assistant for the Calgary Stampeders.- Worked 50-65 hours/week during the summer, and worked full-time on weekends during fall/winter. Role/Achievements: - Satisfying the equipment needs of professional athletes at a one-on-one level- Overviewing the training of practice players during away games satisfying the equipment needs of each player-Creating a support system to help the team achieve success: -during my tenure, the Calgary Stampeders finished 1st in the Western Conference 3/5 years, and qualified for the playoffs 5 out of 5 years. In 2012, the Stampeders were crowned Western Conference Champions and made their first Grey Cup appearance in 4 years. Show less

      - Sandwich for a Story is a global awareness initiative that looks to break down stigma between homeless individuals and the rest of society. - Primary role involved conducting over 100 interviews with homeless individuals for the Sandwich for a Story’s official website, and social media platforms which have amassed a following of over 15,000 people.- Role also involved planning over 30 university/high school outreach events in 2 years.- SFS was represented:at the 2016 Clinton Global Initiative University Conference the 2016 Harvard Medical School Conference and Youth Mental Healththe 2015 Millennium Campus Conference held at United Nations Headquarterson CBC Radio, Global News and CTV News Show less

      - Worked for a Non-governmental Organization in Uganda, that produces instructional videos of practical methods for alleviating poverty. Responsibilities/Achievements: - Planned Sawa’s annual workshop event called Mini Sawa World Day. This event involved recruiting eight Ugandans to teach their entrepreneurial solutions, and additionally promoting the workshop to various impoverished populations throughout Uganda. Over 150 participants came to the event and 82% of attendees reported replicating a skill they learned, within 3 months of attending the workshop. - video editing/video production - drafting interview scripts- on-sight interviewing.       - Worked with the Government of Indonesia to develop a National Strategy for Managing Violent Extremist Prisoners. The National Strategy will serve as the primary guide for all government agencies and civil society organizations working with terrorist prisoners in Indonesia.- Planned and facilitated 3 international conferences focused on enhancing deradicalization and rehabilitation policy and programmes for violent extremist prisoners in Southeast Asia.- Worked with UNODC headquarters to monitor and evaluate the economic viability of prison industry programmes in Indonesia.- Solely planned an event for the International Observance of Nelson Mandela Day (see attached link). Event participants included: the Ambassador of Qatar, the Ministry of Law and Human Rights in Indonesia, and the Embassies of South Africa, Algeria, Ethiopia, Libya, Mozambique, Sudan and Zimbabwe.
