  I took control of the Small Works Department as Contracts Manager, at Thornton Roofing, in Oct 2008. My position entails having complete responsibility for the running of the department, from advertising and procuring jobs through to completion, including all associated budgeting, programming and personnel management. During 2008 / 2009, the turn-over of the department was increased by some 60%. Subsequent years have all recorded steady growth of turnover and profits within the department.
