I oversee the business end of the Loon Liquors, while my extraordinary partner Simeon Rossi is the Chief Artisan - crafting delicious spirits from local sources. We started the first cocktail room in our distillery in Southern, MN and the 5th in the state. Innovated and executed projects in energy consumption and maintenance expenses across 200+ grocery stores (subsidiary companies: Cub Foods, Shop N Save, Shoppers, Farm Fresh and Hornbachers), 40 distribution centers, and 2 corporate offices - total of 30M+ squarefeet. Budgetary responsibilities included annual planning, forecasting and monthly variance (actual to budget) explanations. In just 3 years (2015-2018), the energy expense reduction initiatives resulted in a 21% reduction in usage per square-foot in SVU's key banners (Cub Foods, Hornbachers, and Shoppers).
