   Proactively monitoring and managing in-service equipment for obsolescence issues. Component selection based on the Fit and Function in the assembly. Analyze impact of the components thru available where used/BOM, 3D/2D drawings and OMS documents.  Preparing Form Fit Function reports for suggested replacements of obsolete parts. Replacement qualification and verification based on requirements and its applications. Working with Design engineers and materials team on testing/qualification of replacement part at lab. Working with Manufacturer engineer to perform FFF validation of replacement parts/assembly at manufacturing location. Creation of Retrofit kits/procedures for the replacement parts/assemblies which do not fit/work in place of the obsolete part location at the install base (spares). Writing ECO by using PLM and PDM tools to implement replacement part in reporting parents. Reviewing and correcting drawings/documents to avoid any manufacturability issues and also to meet Applied Materials corporate standards. Suggesting Last Time purchase for the EOL and obsolete parts as per business needs.
