Being the Head of the Royal Marines Detachment at Charterhouse allowed my to push my physical and mental boundaries and to do so whilst motivating others to do the same. Asking people to attempt only what you are willing to attempt yourself was a key lesson I learnt and one which I follow today. Leading from the front and inspiring others through your actions and decisions is something which I consider key in any profession. I left Charterhouse with a D3 in Pre-U Geography (the equivalent to an A at A-level); a D2 in Pre-U History (the equivalent to an A* at A-level) and an A* in Philosophy. Show less
