    • Apple

      Nov 2018 - now

As a retail operations expert it is my responsibility to manage several moving parts throughout the store and harmonize them to move as one cohesive unit. What we refer to as a, “whole store mindset.” This role has given me the opportunity to exercise my skills as an effective communicator. From relaying inventory patterns to the technical team to communication with management about inventory audits and their impact on both the internal and external customers. I am also tasked with ensuring new hires are familiar with retail processes, their functions as well as the ways they impact inventory, and the customer journey. This includes simple processes like those involved in returns to more intricate processes such as inventory themes and procedures during new product launches. In short, I am the bridge between each individual team at the retail level. Show less Following my seasonal position as a Specialist, I was kept on as a part-time Operations Specialist. This role called upon a different set of skills. It became my responsibility to keep extremely detailed records of the day-to-day movement(s) of all the products throughout the entire store. My duties included, but not limited to: running products out to the floor, sending and receiving deliveries, overseeing store-to-store transfers, organizing the product based off a certain set of standards provided by Apple. I am also tasked with receiving and organizing of the service parts used by our technicians during product repairs. Show less
