Jan 2014 - nowMy relocation and assignment from Perth, Australia to Trondheim, Norway has seen me take on a dynamic and broad ranging role within Searcher Seismic which is much more far reaching than a pure Sales Manager role.My primary role as Sales Manager is to be responsible for selling and marketing our existing seismic portfolio across the North West Europe region, intensifying our existing marketing presence, servicing existing clientele and expanding the company’s profile beyond our existing customer base and core contacts.The aim of my relocation is to establish, maintain and build a new office presence in Norway that shares the core values and goals which have been long established at our headquarters whilst establishing an effective and efficient sales and marketing presence within the North West Europe region.The relocation has so far offered me the opportunity to be part of a new start-up where compliance with local laws, taxation regimes, human resources, cross boarder compliance and administration featured heavily in my role.
