  Ambassador for the lessons from auschwitz programme

  After applying for the competitive place on the Lessons from Auschwitz programme in Lower Sixth, I attended two educational courses in Leeds, including attending a talk from an Auschwitz survivor, before going on a twenty-four hour trip to Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II, Birkenau. After which, alongside my peer I delivered a presentation to the lower years educating them on the Holocaust and stressing the importance of bearing witness to the atrocities committed.As an Ambassador, it is my responsibility to keep the memory of the Holocaust alive to prevent it from happening again, and to educate the younger generations.
