  I did one week of work experience at the Travis Perkins Head Office in Northampton. My tasks included calling apprentices and chasing up their work as well as checking they were getting on well with their studies. I was also tasked with creating a video advertising the Duke of Edinburgh campaign that they were promoting throughout the company to engage all employees under the age of 25 to participate in DofE. The software I used to do this was one I was not familiar with but I quickly taught myself how to use it and created the video within a few days. The video I created was used and presented to groups who showed interest. Furthermore, I did some research and created a leaflet showcasing the Cornerstones of Travis Perkins. Show less
