  Engaged full-time as Vibration Diagnostics and Inspection & Reliability Engineer, to achieve the following mainly at Urea as well as at Ammonia, DAP and Utilities plant: Vibration monitoring and Diagnostic analysis of rotating machinery including compressors, HP pumps, fans, etc at Urea manufacturing plant and Ammonia Storage area using portable data collectors Shaft vibration collection and diagnostic analysis of turbo machinery using ADRE 408 DSPi Monitoring of plant rotary machines with known defects to ensure planned maintenance. Internal, external and on-stream inspection and review of plant stationary equipment and piping according to latest industry practices and applicable standards. Preparing inspection reports, recommending and reviewing repair works and maintaining inspection history records. Identification of damage mechanisms according to metallurgy and service, relevant inspection techniques for detection of these damage mechanism, analysis of failures based on guidelines of API, AIChE and recommending mitigation and prevention actions. Inspection of Urea HP equipment during annual turnarounds to maximize equipment reliability. Develop/Review Procedure Qualification Records (PQRs), welding procedure specifications (WPS) and to review welder qualification tests. Perform and review thermography inspections of ammonia plant refractory lined equipment, identify hot spots and relevant internal refractory damages and recommend repair works. Monitoring and review of an 1800amps impressed current cathodic Protection (CP) system installed for corrosion protection of underground piping Scheduling inspection of plant equipment including pressure safety valves (PSVs) for planned outages and arrangement of resources & manpower for the same. Training and mentoring of newly inducted management and non-management associates. Upkeep of IMS (ISO-9001, 14001, 18001) documentation related to Inspection Unit activities Show less
