      Training Officer

      Planned and coordinated all training and exercises for a Combat Support Hospital with full trauma and surgical capabilities. Coordinated multiple missions to South America providing dental and medical support. Coordinated multiple civilian missions within Baltimore City to provide immunizations to school children; provided medical and dental care to homeless population.

      Provide unbiased and sound scientific research, geologic data and maps, and reports to the public, industry, academia, government agencies. Provide a thorough understanding of the state's geology in order to make informed decisions pertaining to the state and regional energy, water, mineral and land resources and to make this information available to the public. Conduct research and apply results for sediment erosion, transport, and deposition. Identify the sources of sediment, the erosion of the sediment including nutrients loads, mechanisms of sediment transport, and the final disposition of the sediments. Evaluate the impacts to the environment throughout this process. Apply these studies to environmental concerns such as dredging, shoreline erosion, reservoir siltation, dam removal, nutrient loading in streams, etc.

      Developed classroom and hands on training courses for the education of enlisted Army personnel to become Army Officers. Successfully developed training courses allowing over 400 soldiers to graduate the initial training and full accredidation of the courses by Fort Benning, GA on two seperate observances.

      Coordinated medical logistics for a Division sized element. This included medical supplies as well as patient evacuation in both traditional and asymetric warfare plans.

      Commanded an Army forward medical company (C/229th MSB, B/729 BSB) of approx. 90 personnel responsible for the health and welfare of 3000-12,000+ military soldiers. Ensured personal training and recruitment were held to the highest standards. Procured and maintained in excess of $3M of medical equipment, supplies, and military assets. Executed missions in support of the US/Mexico border fence construction, providing healthcare to native Indian reservations, and establishing medical facilities immediately following Katrina flooding. Plan, Design, Develop, Execute, and Maintain integral life systems within an operational base for up to 75,000 personnel in a combat zone. Key engineering roles included water generation, storage, and distribution; electricity generation and distribution; sewage collection, processing, and removal; road design and construction; and security implementation.
