Conducted Technical Monitoring Plant of Ammonia Urea Complex to monitor the current plant dynamics.Professional Achievements:• Developed Key Performance Indices for Ammonia Plant Monitoring and Proposed Process Information Software (from OSI Soft) for monitoring of the Key Performance Indices. Proposed Classification resulted in enhanced Process Safety as per international standards • Recycled the Waste Gas Scrubber off-gasses by installation of blower to reduces ammonia losses which not only resulted in savings of 4.7 Million PKR but as well as reduced the environmental impact of the plant.• Carried out Tuning of Critical Control Valves of Plant Emergency Shut down System to make the plant operation smoother and safe.• Involved as coordinator and process interface in a very complex activity of unit conversion of plant. This activity includes the understanding of complicated DCS internal hierarchy and over all control; logics.• Revived the Technical Monitoring Program of the Urea Units and suggested various modifications which resulted in increased stripper efficiency of the urea plant.• Acted as safety co-coordinator of my Department for year 2009 and developed leading Indicators.   Successfully commissioned the FIRST LNG REGASIFICATION TEMRIAL OF PAKISTAN in March 2015. My Prime responsibility as Operations Head in this new role is to smoothly operate the First LNG Regasification Terminal of Pakistan. Challenge was to develop the team for the commissioning of NEW LNG Regasification Terminal. • Leading Team of 40 Operators and 5 Engineers for the smooth Operation of LNG Terminal and Vopak Terminal• Liaison with Excelerate Energy and SSGC (Gas Transmission Company) for the Systems and Procedure Development of LNG Terminal• Process design review of piping lay out , operational philosophy• Development of Precommissioning/ Commissioning & Start-up manuals (POM)• Punch list preparation and removal of deficiencies to ensure field is ready for Operations• Finalization of Terminal Control Philosophy, ESD Cause and Effect Matrix• Butt listing/field verifications of P&IDs to assure compliance to PROJECT & Project standards. • Training of Operations team on HSE, commissioning and start-up procedures• Develop Operations staff Mobilization Plan and staff model for start-up , commissioning and normal shifts• Participated in FULL BRIDGE SIMULATIONS of the Vessels coming in the Port Qasim Channel Show less Engro constructed the first LNG Gasification Terminal of Pakistan at Port Qasim, Karachi. Gasification facility is based on Off-Shore Storage and Gasification through Floating Storage and Regasification Unit. The Project is one of its own kind as we have to design, construct and commission the Project in 11 Months of record duration.
