In addition to my Area Coordinator duties I also oversee the training and development of the 70 George Fox Resident Assistants. I plan and coordinate the Walkabout wilderness experience, a 5 day wilderness camping experience for the entire GFU Residence Life program. We use the outdoors as a venue to provide opportunities for personal, professional, and spiritual development in preparation for the school year. I also shape and facilitate the Fall semester Resident Advisor class that covers a range of topics to equip and encourage the students in their role as RAs. Show less
