An average of 10 million gallons a day (MGD) of water is treated from 26 surficial and 9 Floridan aquifer wells using a combination of iron treatment, conventional filtration, nano filtration and reverse osmosis. An average of 4.5 MGD of wastewater is processed with effluent disposal directed primarily to beneficial water reuse with back up deep injection well disposal. • Oversees multi-aquifer groundwater supply operations, compliance, expansion and protection program. • Works on special programs including ecosystem protection and restoration related to water quality and nutrient loading (septic to sewer conversions, biosolids processing and application and basin management action planning), sea level rise resiliency and climate change adaptation planning, sustainability and resiliency planning and project implementation, single use plastics reduction, contaminants of emerging concern, and reclaimed water management . • Involved in funding strategies and grant efforts, legislative and regulatory affairs, communication programs and public education and outreach.
