      Production & Brands Manager

      Oversee the day to day activity of my team and ensure that we are all prioritizing our tasks for the day/week.Oversee, manage and develop ranges for our 3 in-house brands from concept to delivery – per brand we have 2 ranges each year (Autumn/Winter and Spring/Summer).Liaise with our wholesale agents and boutiques.Manage the product development for our accounts and in house brands. Conduct weekly meetings with my development accounts (mentioned above) to go through all current and future developments, conduct fit meetings and handover approvals.Working with our suppliers and building strong communication and working relationships. These strong relationships therefore make our orders important and therefore improve lead times and our negotiation/buying power. Negotiating prices with suppliers.Ensuring the correct product mix is developed and designed from the get-go in terms of; options per category, price, end use, variety. Resulting in the development of consistent balanced ranges to maximize sales.Creating design boards for the initial inspiration behind each collection to present to my team, and then working with the teams to bring the collections to life.Actively trend forecasting, collating global market insights, keeping up to date with influencers as well as environmental and economic factors. In addition to customer focus to attain the brands DNA. In order to constantly deliver exciting and innovative yet commercial and profitable ranges.Giving more time and more orders to fewer suppliers which in turn made us more important, improved the sample lead time, reduced the sample costs and gave us greater negotiation/buying power.Price negotiation with Mills, Suppliers & Manufactures. Conduct fit sessions with my QAOversee and approve all colours, fabrics, prints. Preparing technical sketch & spec sheets in line with production requirements and then handing these over to our QA.
