  • Lead a cross-functional team of 11 engineers, developers, and analysts to build data streaming solutions that allow critical healthcare data to be streamed from on-prem to a cloud warehouse enabling the use of central applications.• Designed and architected a Kafka-based data streaming solution using Databricks and Airflow to extract, transform, and load (ETL) healthcare data into a Snowflake cloud data warehouse. This replaced an existing file extract process, improved data timeliness from 36+ hours to one hour, and saved WellMed $13MM annually by enabling WellMed to use applications driven by the cloud data warehouse. • For my efforts, I was awarded a $20K RSU package.• Increased collaboration with the platform engineering team for knowledge-sharing and Q&A, enabling my team to leverage the Azure-based data platform. This contributed to reducing the project timeline by two months and saved $150K, ensuring an early Go-Live.• Coordinated with data transformation and quality teams to synchronize schedules for timely data ingestion, maintaining a shared project plan and holding regular meetings. This streamlined the project timeline, enabling the team to shave another month off the schedule.• Partnered with business and IT leaders to build a strategic roadmap for the new data streaming solution. Developed OKRs for data streaming pipeline readiness and KPIs for program financial performance.
