      My role at Newham Council was exciting and challenging! It involved conducting options appraisals of a range of council services to determine whether they could become a viable small business or could work more effectively through a different operating model. During this role, I was responsible for creating two Newham Council-owned street cleansing companies and raised in excess of £2m in financial capital to fund key infrastructure for these businesses. I provided strategic marketing communications services for the Children and Young People's directorate. I joined Newham Council as a Campaign Manager and moved on to become the Senior Campaign Manager and was then seconded as the Interim Head of Communications and Community Engagement for the Newham Unit for the 2012 Games for a 15-month period.
