  • Eirgrid is the state-owned electric power transmission operator in Ireland. • Eirgrid’s primary purpose is the daily management of the Irish national grid, the operation of the wholesale power market, and the development of high voltage infrastructure to serve Ireland's economy.• I worked in the Transmissions Projects department as a Project Analyst. • Here I gained valuable Project Management experience where I worked with a team of Project Managers and Engineers on long standing and complex grid extension and refurbishment projects that were ongoing all over the country.• Ensured effective schedule, financial and risk management procedures were undertaken on projects thus ensuring accuracy towards month end reporting. • Assisted with the preparation and review of monthly project status reports and ensured supporting documentation was revised and up to date. • Responsible for updating and maintaining project trackers on the team’s SharePoint site.• Maintained risk registers, issue registers and project plans.• Assisted with the implementation of the Project Management Controls on all projects within the Transmission Projects team.• Reviewed and updated the Project Financial Control Worksheets, including monitoring of budgets, payment schedules and timesheets.• Assisted with the restructuring and organising of the team SharePoint site, where I helped to establish and maintain project filing systems as part of the preparation for the introduction of Freedom of Information legislation. • Assisted with updating and maintaining the teams project folders for internal and external audit and compliance.• Gained working experience of Microsoft Project Management programs such as AX dynamics, Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel.
