During this time, Lance Corporal Kennedy utilized his superior understanding of electromagnetic warfare to provide real time spectrum data of the signal's environment. His mentorship during the Ground Reconnaissance Course and Mechanized Operators Course provided exercise forces instruction on how the enemy sees them in spectrum, and how to mitigate their signature. While serving as the Electronic Warfare Red cell team leader for Marine Air Ground Task Force Warfighting Exercise 5-23, he proved key concepts using direction finding and spectrum analysis as part of a hyper enabled deep reconnaissance effort with experimental equipment and technologies to create a near-peer hyond threat dynamic in the multidoman environment. Intercepting enemy communications, he was able to exploit the lack of communication discipline and identify key grids for major equipment and marshalling areas. This enabled his team to locate and bring effective fires on the enemy to attrite a superior force, repelling the final assault on range 220. He further demonstrated his tactical proficiency by supporting the Office of Naval Research during Exeraise Keep summer safe, flying multiple arones for inteligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance of a numencally superor and better equipped force, enabling his team to degrade the enemy until they became ineffective. Lance Corporal Kennedy's focus on combat readiness and exemplary dedication to mission accomplishment reflected credit upon him and were in keeping with the highest traditions of the Tactical Training and Exercise Control Group, the Marine Corps, and the United States Naval Service.
