  In House of Fraser I worked on beauty spotlight, which promote brands that new and upcoming brands. My job role was to give help and advice on the beauty/skincare products and to get the honest recommendations based on what the client was looking for. I'm also responsible for replenishing stock and keeping my area clean and tidy. Every shift we have targets to achieve, this includes encouraging customers to sign up for a rewards card, where we feed this back to management.

  As head of department at Mark Warner my job duties were to make sure stock take was completed accurately each month and ensuring any products that were empty, or were running low, were restocked. Also, I needed to keep track of how many treatments I completed and how much the treatments totalled to each week, from this I would be able to see if I would hit my weekly target and any areas that I would need to improve for the following weeks. Another part of my job role was to book clients in for treatments as they could only do so once they arrived at the hotel. I achieved this by offering an introductory discount if the client would book on arrival at the hotel, if I had a quiet week I would also put other discount offers aswell. As being part of the management team, all managers took turn in being a duty manager where we would be in charge of the hotel and resolve any issues that risen either with customers, or with the running of the hotel.
