    • ICON Foundation

      Jan 2017 - Jan 2017
      Project Marketing Lead - Consultant

Led the marketing campaign for the largest blockchain project in Korea, "ICON(아이콘)". Redirected the marketing message from a purely technical standpoint of interconnecting blockchains, to building upon Don Tapscott's credibility (Author of the Blockchain Revolution). Personally wrote a tailored Press Release and Textshot image focused on Don Tapscott being an ICON Advisor. Within a 1.5 month period, I restructured their website, reorganized the 8-person-marketing-team, and ran Google/Facebook/Reddit ads myself. Through the campaign I was able to increase the userbase by 8,000 users, which led to the largest public Token Sale in Korea. Voir moins

    • MediBloc

      Oct 2017 - Jan 2017
      Project Marketing Lead - Consultant

Ran marketing campaign while also managing ICON. Revamped the website design to create a chatroom focused user-funnel. As daily active-chatroom users were more valuable than inactive email registrants. MediBloc started off with a suspended advertising account, I circumvented this ban by contacting an accredited advertising partner. While most Bounty Programs were ran externally, the MediBloc Bounty was the first to integrate Bounty Referrals into the registration process itself, leading to a x8 times higher engagement rate (compared to contemporary bounty participation rates.) • Velic

      Jan 2018 - Mar 2019
      Marketing Consultant

For VELIC I primarily helped carve out a niche amongst a more populating Korean crypto-exchange landscape. The angle that VELIC was aiming for was a "Vault/Custodianship" for Tokens. Which is why I focused on writing content for Google SEO optimization and finding loopholes in promoting crypto-content amidst a general crypto-advertising ban from Google/Facebook/Twitter.

    • PIBBLE

      Jan 2018 - Jan 2018
      Product Marketing Lead - Consultant

Actually helped coin the brand-name "Pibble". Inspired by the E-ink smartwatch (Pebble), I wanted a name that sounded the same in English and Korean. Pe'bble's are like various blocks coming together, the service was a social 'Pi'cture, and decentralized people across the globe would be the driving force of Pibble. Personal favorite moment was the idea to promote Pibble on New York Times Square!

    • EdenChain

      Jan 2018 - Jan 2018
      Project Marketing Lead - Consultant

Interestingly, EdenChain has a disproportionally large Telegram chatroom userbase compared to other channels. Therefore the marketing campaigns focused primarily on the chatroom. Bounty events were not geared towards resharing posts on Facebook/Twitter/Bitcointalk, but rather to create content that can be shared on Telegram. The primary focus was on keeping the Telegram users engaged. The Bounty was designed via a "Contest" style thereby maximizing the promotional effort of contestants while minimizing the actual reward-pool distributed. Voir moins

    • PayProtocol

      Jan 2018 - Nov 2018
      Marketing Consultant

As PayProtocol is a Reverse-ICO of Danal (Payment Gateway). As PayProtocol already had a pre-established reputation through Danal, the focus on the marketing campaign was rather to extend Danal's credibility through website partnership logos, periodic blog posts, and a weekly newsletter campaign. While making sure that PayProtocol's marketing campaigns did not encroach on the strict security measures required for a payment gateway.

    • TEMCO

      Sept 2018 - Jan 2018
      Project Marketing Lead - Consultant

The initial direction of TEMCO was promoting the technical disruption of a decentralized blockchain-based supply chain. I refocused the marketing message on the being: the first crypto-startup to be funded by the largest VC in Korea KIP (Korean Investment Partners) and also being the first Bitcoin dApp RSK (Rootstock). TEMCO also launched during the IEO-craze, therefore I was tasked with fully utilizing the marketing-pool of each exchange doing an IEO for TEMCO.

    • Nexybit

      Oct 2018 - Jan 2019
      Marketing Team

Served as marketing for a Korean cryptocurrency exchange. In particular, I've worked closely with the "Nexybit(넥시빗)" Exchange. Launched a point-based bounty program that rewarded users for logging in, creating transactions, posting forum posts. This directly contributed to flooding CoinPan (a Korean cryptocurrency forum) with positive Nexybit comments, a separate/dedicated Nexybit forum, and a +350% userbase increase for Nexybit. Nexybit was acquired following the campaign.

    • Refereum

      Jan 2019 - Jan 2019
      Marketing Advisor

Consulted on initial marketing strategy for entering the Korean market. Helped integrate the Refereum Growth Engine on the Nexybit Exchange. Connected with ICON to serve as a P-Rep candidate.
