  Worked on Applications of Machine Learning in Advanced Photonics and Spectrometry. Key achievements were: -• Creating a scalable program / AI to detect concentration of certain compounds from water based on spectral data and automating the process for end users.• Key challenge overcome was maximizing the accuracy of the AI built on a very small dataset since each data collected was the result of an experiment which had a cost associated with it.

  Invited to help the Innovations and Research team in Version1 based on my previous experience and positive feedback from the senior management. The Innovations team is focused on using cutting edge and latest technologies to improve business processes for customers. Achievements include: • Automated the weekly checks system using an automated Python-SQL job for Currency Fair, an online peer-to-peer currency exchange marketplace headquartered in Ireland. Closely monitored the daily jobs built in SSIS packages and resolved issues in the daily run • Create a PoC (Proof of Concept) for National Highways UK for a test validation framework for files in the Azure data pipeline based in Python. • Developed an automated web-data scraper for carbon footprint calculator which was an added offering for customers in saving their carbon footprint when migrating from on-prem to Azure or AWS Cloud. Conducted an Azure AI Immersion Workshop partnered with Microsoft for over 18 prospective customers, going through the benefits of incorporating the Azure Data and AI solutions as a part of their business and with over 33% participants registering for a follow up. Show less Worked as a data engineer, managed services consultant for Pernod-Ricard UK, a global company in selling the world’s leading wine and spirits brands like Absolut, Jameson, Jacobs Creek, Glenlivet, Campo Viejo etc, overseeing their BI, Finance, supply chain, and other internal IT Systems. Key achievements in the role were: • Ensured a smooth transition / takeover and knowledge gain over several different BI systems in a 3-week handover for the Managed Services with minimal supervision. • Provided support as a SME (Techno-Functional) for On-Prem to Azure Data Migration and JDE ERP Data Modernization projects for the client across multiple Project Teams. • Ensured the client business had no major roadblocks by resolving issues / across multiple client BI systems by reverse engineering the data pipelines and providing recommendations on improving them while also adhering and not breaching very strict SLAs.• Worked closely with the heads of Finance, Supply chain, Commercial and Marketing across the customer side, and communicating the progress of issues, plan of resolution of issues, setting expectations on the resolution etc. • Key undertaking was navigating customers’ demands and communicating the feasibility of the solution in non-technical terms since these would be very senior people looking over the entire business of the organization and not directly close to the functionality of the system.
