  I worked as a Residential and Non-residential Activities Leader in the Social Education and Language School Bayswater, an inspiring organization for its approach to educate students from unprivileged countries with each week of tuition that a regular student pays.   CBI-Challenge Based Innovation is a six-month international programme based at CERN, where local companies and young talents develop projects to solve complex societal problems. The core mission of the programme is to connect science with society, channeling students' efforts to link the technology developments done at IdeaSquare CERN into addressing societal challenges.Being part of a diverse and multidisciplinary team, I was involved in the challenge sponsored by Sanofi Genzyme to reduce misdiagnosis and diagnostic delay of rare diseases. By applying principles of Human-Centred Innovation and following the Design-Thinking approach, I was involved in redesigning the whole patient's journey from beginning to end. This included interviewing stakeholders, conducting user research and needs analyses, prototyping and implementing solution concepts with the support of researchers from CERN, and presenting solutions to the client.
