      MGM Resorts International is a popular hotel and casino located in the heart of the strip and is home to thousands of visitors from around the world. MGM is recognized for having a diverse and engaged workplace. I worked in their backyard among 6.5 acres of fun! The MGM pool is the mecca for all Lifeguards. It consist of four pools, three whirlpools, one lazy river, a kiddie pool, and a waterfall. My job was to maintain constant surveillance of guests and responded immediately and appropriately to secure safety of guests in the event of emergency. Show less

My area of focus was working with at risk youth at the Yakima Police Athletic League. My Americorps term was sponsored by the City of Yakima Washington, Parks and Recreation.
