      I was assigned the Gas Processing Unit (GPU). GPU is the first step in the plant at GAIL , Pata . The natural gas from HVJ line is made useful for further processing.The internship involved detailed study at the Gas Sweetening Unit , the C2-C3 Extraction Unit and Heat Recovery and Steam Generation Unit. The control room as well as the plant itself helped to understand the industrial process better.
