Using Facebook and Instagram, I posted engaging content for our audiences. I participated in social media listening and monitoring. Through this position, I gained experience using Facebook advertising to complement our organic content.   As Marketing Coordinator for Stars and Stripes Europe, I am responsible for community engagement and marketing throughout the European military community. I manage our social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Threads, Pinterest and X) through collaboration with other teams within Stars and Stripes to provide informational and engaging content. I have the pleasure of being the team lead for our group of Marketing Assistants that are based in communities throughout Europe such as the UK, Southern Italy, Northern Italy and Germany. I facilitate weekly team meetings to ensure direct and consistent communication and team building. I provide my team with professional development opportunities wherever possible. My position also allows me to connect with others in the community to create partnerships. Through my efforts, we have built connections with community partners such as MWR/FSS, USO, AWAG, spouses' clubs and other private organizations. Through these community connections, we are able to support other organizations, help provide moral boosting events to the community and spread the word about the resources and information available from Stars and Stripes.
