  I learnt how to work with a software called Accendo, which allowed me to check-in and book appointments for patients. I was also involved in answering phone calls and providing information about available tests that the clinic offered. Overall, the experience helped me gain a deeper understanding of how clinics operate and the importance of patient confidentiality.

  Undergraduate Research Placement in Organic Chemistry

  The Royal Society of Chemistry awarded me the Undergraduate Research Bursary. This funded an 8-week summer research placement in Organic Chemistry with Dr. Jones at QMUL. My project aimed to replace the conventional reaction solvents used in aryne transformations with greener and more sustainable alternatives. I learned how to work in a research laboratory, analyse results, participate in group meetings and present my results in a professional setting.

  GSK Residential Chemistry Training Experience

  Selected to take part in GSK's Residential Chemistry Training Experience for early talent. Throughout this intensive week, I gained practical experience in the Medicinal Chemistry labs, received excellent training for interviews and CV writing, and was able to network with GSK professionals and academics.
