  Trained at a high-volume transplant center in all aspects of lung failure including mechanic respiratory support (ECMO) and lung transplantation. The focus of my training included:- Evaluation and selection of transplant candidates as part of a multi-disciplinary team- Lung donor evaluation, management, and selection- Independent procurement of donor organs with certification by the Center for Organ Recovery & Education (CORE) including exposure to vertebral body harvest for tandem bone marrow transplantation- Peri-operative care of the lung transplant recipient including critical care components- Management of patients requiring ECMO support in the peri-operative period- Initiation and management of immunosuppression- Diagnosis and treatment of the full spectrum of post-transplant complications- Diagnostic bronchoscopy and bronchoscopic lung biopsy of transplant recipients- Histopathologic assessment of lung biopsies- Treatment of allograft rejection عرض أقل
