      • Developed and trained Engineering personnel on Precision termination processes, Wiring Husbandry Awareness and assessment of cable damage.• Managed Quality audit teams of over 16 personnel, focussing on strategy and performance of Sqn and sections and identifying high risk areas across the Defence Air Environment.• Ensured compliance of the Safety Centre quality management system by developing management checks and self-audit programs to identify non-compliance trends and implemented their corrective actions with the ultimate goal of preventing reoccurrence.• Provided subject matter advice to senior management and engineering directors on cable damage assessment and repairs on Typhoon fast jet aircraft. • Liaised directly with Engineering Authority figures on technical publications and policies to ensure best practice, suggesting improvements resulting in submitting amendments for change to policy.• Reviewed and produced departmental Risk Assessments and introduced a lone worker policy. Created an operating procedure which protects and gives individuals practical advice when carrying out lone working activities and produced a risk assessment containing measures mitigating associated risks.• Improving aircraft capabilities and training of engineers by reviewing and amending lesson specifications, key learning points and creating lessons presentations. Show less • Responsible for the overall control of over a thousand tool kits and directing engineers and trades people on the correct control principles including all tooling matters within the Defence Air Environment. • I created and implemented a tools audit program and briefed all findings to the Chief Air Engineer to mitigate poor tool control which is one of the key risks to aircraft safety. The audits identified issues such as a trend with torque tool monthly accuracy checks not being completed and the actions taken to prevent a potential airworthiness failure. Show less
