(M1 optional Stops Etc.)Running up to 4 machines at once, checking a percentage of component manufactured using an SPC based inspection system.Changing tooling and tool offsets to ensure components stay within drawing tolerances.Grind and sharpen tooling, make drills and part off tools as and when required.Liaise with Charge-hand of opposing shifts to ensure that any issues or maintenance information is forwarded on to the next shift.Perform general housekeeping tasks, i.e. Machine maintenance and Cleaning.
