  Provides technical and operational support to the country. Assists the Operations/Country Manager and the Rig Superintendent in managing the region as a profit and performance independent unit while delivering value drilling services to the customers. Service quality, planning and safety are key priorities. Essential Responsibilities and Duties:• Participates in pre-tour and tool-box meeting with all members of the Rig crew when on Rig site. • Promote safety motivation and leadership. • Is always fully compliant with the requirements of the QHSE policies, standards, and wears required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times on Rig sites. • Completes formal training sessions on QHSE and technical subjects as described by the matrixes. • Pursue solutions to technical equipment problems, write analytical reports. • Review, evaluate and prepare incentive prospects and bids. • Monitor and control performance of maintenance program. • Assist with preparation of technical and equipment sections of the budget. • Develop and maintain contact with customer’s drilling/technical departments. • Assist and implement new techniques on the Rig. • Must be able to understand the “multi-disciplinary” aspect of conducting business and be familiar with all the Management disciplines: Technical Support, Procurement, Financial, Supply Chain, Personnel and Marketing management. Show less Develop and implement technical training for Environmental Solutions staff.- Perform field technical visits, equipment inspections and facility visits according the Operations Manager request.-Perform technical reviews with Project Engineers, Field Engineers and warehouse team.- Find and inspect all third party equipment required before to be shipped to well site.- Coordinate the maintenance and construction of new equipment out of the warehouse and obtain the necessary documentation to perform these tasks.- Conduct inspections on the basis of operation of the companies that own the rigs to coordinate designs and assemblies prior initiation of a joint project.- Supervise field installation of new equipment on drilling rigs.
