      As Director of Finance and Operations I managed the business (member owned) on behalf of a Board of Directors. The Company ultimately got purchased by McKesson Canada. Was recruited by McKesson to relocate to Edmonton to manage their McKesson's Consumer warehouse which services all of western Canada, As Director of Finance and Operations I managed the daily operations of 65 employees in Customer service, Finance, Human Resources, Operations and facilities of a 100,00 sq. ft. warehouse which distributed to Retail Pharmacies throughout Saskatchewan.       Manager of 215,000 sq ft Consumer Warehouse servicing Western Canada, 180 Union employees, 24/6 operations 4 shifts. Manage transportation requirements for all provinces and territories, ensuring On time delivery and exceptional customer satisfaction to over 3000 customers, with an offering of over 35,000 listed sku's as well as seasonal and flyer promotional items throughout the year. Lead Project teams to high achievement winning 2 - National awards over a 4-year span. o Re-alignment of Delivery Offering and re-design of Transportation network, including adding hubs and cross docks, revamping use of LH and LTL carriers. This project resulted in a savings of 2 Million in the first year on a 7 Million Dollar budget spend.o 15 Million Dollar expansion doubling building size and adding automation, resulted in this retrofit start-up to be an on time on budget completion with no customer disruption over the 15-month project.  Implemented Pilot Leadership project for McKesson successfully resulting in annual savings of over $750,000 in productivity costs while mentoring and supporting 8 Supervisors to Level 5 certification. Lead numerous Best practices and CI opportunity projects in operations to gain efficiencies, establish controls and improve operational costs.  Improved operational productivity KPI’s by over 136% at a rate of 5%-10% each year. Increased Employee Engagement by 15% and improved Labour Relations with Union by reducing grievances to minimal or nil over 5 year span.  Improved quality KPI’s by over 500% which increased Customer Satisfaction, reduced track and trace claims and Customer service complaints. On boarded new retail banner customer increasing overall volumes by 40%, this included review of equipment needs and hiring additional resources, training and adding extra shift within a 12-week period. Lead Health and Safety Standardization project for 3 Alberta DC’s resulting in achieving a 10% increase in core audit results.
