After recruiting and developing Advisors for Northwestern Mutual, I realized my desire to want to expand my reach across many networks. I created Michaelson Consulting to have the opportunity to do just that and really to have an impact on the Northwestern Mutual system. I specialize in partnering with executives and their leadership teams to teach them the fundamentals of incorporating and balancing recruiting into their business. When talent acquisition is successfully layered into their practice, the potential for success is infinite. I also help offices source, onboard and develop recruiters to execute the right systems and processes, build the right habits and become really productive as quickly as possible. As a foundation to helping an office achieve successful results, my goal is to continuously drive alignment and best practices. I do this by facilitating seminars with teams around the candidate experience in the selection process, annual recruitment planning days along with year-round recruiting plan reviews. While I play an active role in supporting the Newly Appointed Managing Partners (NAMP) and Early Productivity Experience (EPE) programs in collaboration with Northwestern Mutual, I also consult and coach individual recruiters, field leaders, and teams to attract top talent for the career as a financial representative.
