  I was member of the first generation of the Edison Engineer Development Program (EEDP) for GE Renewables. Took courses of both Power and Renewables businesses, allowing me to gain deeper technical understanding on the different technologies from each business. Through different rotations, I had the opportunity to learn about diverse GE technologies and the opportunities digitalization brings to GE as a business: I worked as part of the Control’s team developing a Predix machine algorithm for shadow flickering management in onshore wind turbines. This algorithm has a patent, for which I was lead inventor. I also worked as part of the Reliability team doing fault and repair analysis to drive design for reliability efforts. Additionally, as part of Digital team, I participated in developing a grid fault detection algorithm that would allow GE turbines to have an accurate accountability of their availability. Voir moins

  Worked for the Renewable Energy Markets and Policies team who publishes a yearly flagship report that focuses on 5-year renewables forecast based on current policies and market developments for the electricity, transport, and heat sectors. I contributed to the main electricity forecast by focusing on the Latin American region and specializing in global technology development of pumped storage and concentrating solar power projects. To support my forecast, I engaged with government officials, industry representatives and other experts who can give insights to development in the different countries. Collaborated with inputs into different areas such as the co-authoring of the cyber resilience report, for which I looked at voluntary and mandatory measures that utilities and other electricity sector stakeholders need to or can use to enhance cyber resilience. Another example is the China Power System Transformation report where I contributed to analyzing the results from a detailed power sector modelling exercise for 2035. I was responsible for the data flows of the Renewables Market Report, create data analysis solutions to support the team’s work and in charge of liaising with our IT and publishing teams for dynamic visualizations. Some of my responsibilities are: present and demonstrate MMS at various levels and events such as industry events, and conferences to increase awareness and drive demand; Listen to the ‘Voice of the Customer’ and interface with product management; Establishing a deep understanding of the European electricity market for our customers and prospects across the region; Interface with the MMS teams globally, and support building best practices, answering to customer enquiries and driving product roadmap. Coordinating and contributing to GE Digital’s recommendations to Calls for Input into different policy or regulatory instruments such as the REMA consultation in the UK and the EU’s electricity market design consultation. Collaborating as part of T&D Europe in the Grid Digitalization working group - Data management and Digital Twin Task Forces.
