      As part of the ASEAN Client Access team, I play a critical role in driving the Client Access Agenda in the region to drive client intimacy by enabling innovative client interfaces/touch points (Web,Host-2-Host,Mobile) that provide anytime anywhere access to the bank. My role in the region cuts across Cash Management (Payables, Receivables, FX) & Trade Services (Documentary & Open Account Trade) my key responsibilities include:•Being a critical member of the deal team for complex deal reviews and RFP responses, provide channel expertise to choose the right channel at the right time based on the client profile.•Commercialization of new channel capabilities that includes raising the awareness of sales, implementation & service teams, preparing collaterals and user guides for ASEAN specific capabilities, assisting the client facing teams on client queries, proactively avoiding client impact by engaging upfront with the product delivery teams and with effective internal/client communication.•Anchor Investment/Business case preparation for channel development in ASEAN that includes a)Combing 100s of client requirements & prioritizing them based on benefits, cross sell etc… b)Making sure that the prioritization for development and implementation fits into the allocated ASEAN yearly enhancements budget and requirements are articulated.•Driving the digitization agenda for Client Access in ASEAN through various initiatives with sole focus on ‘digital before physical’.•Foresee and respond to evolving market and regulatory regimes and maintaining a robust channels governance framework that captures all risks and their mitigating procedures. The focus areas include:a)Keeping tab on local country regulations that includes clearing upgrades, new payment mode offerings etc...b)Being the delegated authority to waive channel T&C and c)Making sure non standard processes are identified and provide expertise to adapt to standard channel solutions. Show less As part of the business solutions team, my key achievements were :• YoY provided functional leadership and assisted in delivering various enhancements on Cash Management in channels globally for 50+ countries amounting to a value of USD $4M/year on an average.• Assisted in the systems integration when American Express Bank was taken over by SCB, completed system enhancements and migrated 100% of all clients to SCB systems within 18 months• Key role in launching SCB’s direct model connectivity with network banks in SCB non presence markets in 4 countries across regions.• Led various regulatory enhancements on Straight2Bank (bank's flagship electronic banking portal) as per directions from regulatory bodies globally such as MAS, HKMA, BNM and so on.• Instrumental in aligning Straight2Bank with various in-country clearing upgrades globally, SWIFT yearly MT(1&9 series)message upgrades and launching channel Tax solutions in Africa, India.• Led the channel cross border payment offering that utilized SCB’s internal network effectively and offering a cheaper cross border solution for clients. • Assisted in launching Straight2Bank payments solution in 5 new markets.
