      Activities and Societies: Maritime Studies Association, Graduate Assistant, SCUBA, archaeology, anthropology M.A. in Maritime Studies through the History Department, Thesis Title: "From Luxury Liners to Aircraft Carriers: USS Wolverine and USS Sable"2014-2017 - Graduate Assistant for three professors in the History Department, both the History division and the Maritime division, as well as the Women's Studies Department.

Marched in the Marching Band for 4 years on Alto Saxophone. 3 year member of A.C.T.I.O.N., a local mentoring and volunteering program.

      Participated in the ECU Summer Field School located in Cahuita, Costa Rica. Helped to document 2 different sites along the town's coastal area. Site 1 was nicknamed "The Cannon Site" due to the 10+ cannon that were located and recorded there. Site 2 was nicknamed "The Brick Site" due to the large amount of yellow brick located and mapped at the location.

      Researching World War II Great Lakes Aircraft Carriers and the artifacts associated with them, creating GIS maps for their daily routes and pinpointing possible locations of wrecked aircraft that occurred while attempting to land or take-off from the aircraft carriers. Graduate Assistant for three professors in the History Department, both the History division and the Maritime division, as well as the Women's Studies Department. Graded exams, term papers and provided assistance in recording attendance. Participated in the ECU Fall Field School. We recorded and mapped a shipwreck that had been previously been recorded by Dr. Brad Rogers 30 years prior. We analyzed the data for the possible effects that ice shove has on coastal wrecks in the Great Lakes.
