  - Worked on the Dynamic Systems subteam to develop and analyze suspension structures on three axes to minimize the effects of perturbations at high speeds- Used dynamic simulations in Simulink to source spring and damper combinations that would yield optimal suspension response characteristics- Conducted FEA on support plates to ensure that failure would not occur with a safety factor of 2.5- Collaborated with other subsystems to integrate ten suspension structures onto the pod- Developed a pod trajectory simulator in Python to optimize motor parameters for maximum speed given a certain track length using Runge-Kutta 4 numerical integration Show less
