The input to the algorithm was the volume fraction, aspect ratio of ellipsoids and the orientation tensor. Once the microstructure was generated, the Mori-Tanaka (MT) and Pseudo-Grain Mori Tanaka (PGMT) assumption for mean field homogenisation was validated using FEA which couldn't be done before due to lack of capability in generating a microstructure with pre-defined orientation distribution which is given by orientation tensor.       Lead the team of 60 members to represent the country at Formula Student Austria (fsaustria.at) and Formula Student Germany (formulastudent.de).Stood 3rd in cost and manufacturing event at FS Austria and 4th in FS Germany.We started conceptualizing the electric vehicle for next season and kept a foot forward in creating a electric vehicle.Managed the deadlines and the relationship with the institute. My responsibilities included managing the timeline, making sure the car is rule compliant, Making sure proper SOP is followed in design.First time participated in an international event at Formula Student East 2018 in Zalaegerszeg, Hungary(fseast.eu) and cleared technical inspection hasslefree.Lightest car in country with complete aerodynamic package (180 kgs) This year, the we decided to introduce aerodynamics package on our car.We won Engineering Design Award at SUPRA SAEINDIA 2017 held at Buddh International Circuit, Greater Noida.My main role was to design a stiffer and lighter chassis than previous year and also to design aerodynamic package for the car for the very first time.
