  I started at 2K Games as a Temporary QA Tester before being promoted to a Full Time Tester Position during the companies move from Northridge, CA to Las Vegas, NV. After two months of being a Full Time Tester, I was given extra responsibilities and title of 'Pod Leader'. - Pod Leaders are charged with creating, maintaining, and verifying test scripts with the intent to confirm the flow and design of particular area of a project. - Pod Leaders are also tasked with training any new testers on a project as well as assisting the Lead Tester with maintaining the Database and delegating daily tasks to the team. - Quality assurance functionality testing, regressing, and test script completion.- Responsible for ensuring a game functions properly when used properly or improperly.- Write accurate bug reports specifying issues found within the game and how it is reproduced in order to ensure functionality.- Ensure all reports are properly entered into the specified database, regress issues as reported fixed and complete checklists to ensure game playability.- Usage of all Microsoft Office applications as well as JIRA, FogBugz, and TestTrack for bug reporting and tracking.- Assisted with reports on project status by gathering the total numbers of issues entered, open, resolved, and closed daily.-Communicated regularly with developers for multiple high profile projects regarding project status, test plans, and milestones. - Monitored issues entered daily by the publisher QA team.- Regularly worked with Xbox Neighborhood, PIX, Fraps, EZGrabber, and Game Disc Emulator.- Platforms used frequently include Xbox 360, Playstation 3, PC, MAC, PS2, Wii, and a variety of mobile devices.Credentials:- NBA 2K12- MLB 2K12- NBA 2K13- MLB 2K13- Duke Nukem Forever: The Doctor Who Cloned Me- XCOM: Enemy Unknown- The Darkness II- Bioshock Infinite- The Bureau: XCOM Declassified- XCOM: Enemy Within Show less
