      Jan 2003 - Oct 2006
      Cavalry Scout

During my time as a Cavalry Scout I operated as a member of a Recon team well versed in reconnaissance, concealment, land navigation, special tactics; analyzed technical team needs and operational repair analysis. I also mastered skills in land navigation and terrain analysis for proper logistic and equipment needed for project completion. My fastidious practice and expertise in special equipment usage habits allowed a consistent expert rating for tactical operations as well as contributing to my organizations’ overall readiness. I believe the training I received helped me to achieve the personification of the phrase, “I’m here to chew bubblegum and kick butt… and I’m all out of gum.” Show less

      Assistant Operations and Training Manager

During my first leadership assignment I led and trained 7 employees in daily technical and maintenance activities while encouraging ongoing academic and professional development. I had the responsibility of counseling more than 50 team members and providing career guidance for employees; which improved training procedures and future planning. On a monthly basis I communicated current organization metrics to senior leadership and presented future operations plan proposals. I issued strategic core values to employees by proper dissemination techniques, work flows and multi-media sources. It was my daily goal to provide purpose, direction and motivation to my organization which resulted in efficient and expedient project completion. Show less

As a Air Operations Manager, I led and trained 100+ employees in more than 200 operations as well as meticulously documenting individual technicians’ proficiency and tracking employee benefits and payroll operations. My exemplary accomplishments during this time are as follows: I developed a specialized equipment training class, which was instructed to more than 1K employees and resulted in a successful program, reducing equipment preparation time by 30%. I established several new standard operating procedures for the training department which was later adopted by outside departments. I ensured that basic financial training was delivered to all new hires, in order to reduce financial hardship during employment. Show less I am a Finalist of America's Got Talent 2023 because of this assignment! While serving in the 82nd Airborne Division All-American Chorus I led a team of 4 Bass Section members in acapella musical performances nationwide, performed as Lead Bass in complex acapella quintets, and trained potential Bass singers in musical performance. I was motivated to develop the Bass section during on and off-duty rehearsals which produced a flawless, in tune, and blended sound which showed in our live performances. I worked hard to exude professionalism and elegance in performances and meet-and-greets designed for federal and military VIPs. During my time there, the 82nd Airborne Division All-American Chorus raised military awareness and recruitment, by performing at over 2,000 events to include NASCAR, National Hot Rod Association and dozens of Veteran supporting events. It was a truly rewarding experience. Show less Being a Power Generation Equipment Repairer was my military occupational specialty for a decade. It is a responsibility that I have continually accomplished along with additional responsibilities I accrued through career progression. During this particular time block of my career my main task was the repair and maintenance of my local region’s power generation equipment while training technical mechanics and operators in generator service and operation. I also independently managed a generator repair shop while converting 30+ district level projects from red to green. I showed great initiative when I wrote and implemented a training program which solved 75% of equipment breakage and reduced new purchases by 22%. My daily accomplishments included keeping equipment operating despite limited resources by focusing on proper initial training and recognizing early needs for retraining of laterally transferred technicians. Show less In this role, I led a team of 7 employees responsible for the administrative, financial, legal, and supply department functions for more than 80 maintenance department employees. In addition to being the team leader, my position in the team was to handle human resource functions for 80+ employees, including medical needs and family outreach programs. I also assisted in financial literacy coursework and information sessions affecting 100+ employees. On a regular basis, I instructed employment regulatory requirements (adhering to both state and federal EEOC guidelines), Instructed and enforced Safety & Occupational Health Programs (to include cultural and harassment regulations), and rehabilitated recuperating employees through personal physical training regiment which resulted in employees excelling during annual physical fitness examinations.
