The Game was never a sales hit but it included advanced technics at that time.

  Working from the Wuppertal site in Germany, I was leading a team of four people in charge of the data transformation needed to integrate the legacy country-based Herberts SAP Systems in Europe into a single central SAP System. Developed a rule based data transformation mechanism on MS Access that resulted in an improvement of several thousand times. Designed and implemented in that tool the algorithms to transform Base Units Of Measure with the minimum possible loss of accuracy when unit relations changes don’t allow exact changes, minimizing this way important rounding problems provided by former methods.   DuPont sold its coatings business to Carlyle and it became Axalta. My main duties were ensuring the correct operations of the IT infrastructure, leading the IT infrastructure divestment in Spain and Portugal and contributing to build a new Global Service Desk in India.I played a key role at the IT migration project working for 13 sites in 8 different countries within EMEA. Infrastructure was changed for over three thousand users ensuring minimum user impact and no business disruptions.I also supported IT applications by managing the relationship with the external application vendors. I provided the required IT infrastructure environment for bespoke applications (i.e. Beneflex for HR Spain). I developed ad-hoc solutions when required (i.e. for finance department a small XML/XSL transformation tool to match Portuguese TAX legal requirements). Show less
