  A four-month, full-time immersive software engineering Bootcamp, focused on teaching students the fundamentals of becoming a Full Stack Software Engineer. The program consisted of five phases (three weeks long each), where the cycle was, Week 1 learn the material for a new language and or framework, Week 2 take a coding challenge (assessment) to demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of material learned, Week 3 create a web-based application based off the culmination of material learned up to that point. Below are three examples of web-based apps I worked on throughout my time at Flatiron School.- A single-page web-based app called Fitness Guru, where users would come on and be able to pick pre-uploaded workout routines or create and or edit their own regimen based on the workouts and the type of routine they wanted to create. This app was built with a JavaScript frontend and a Rails backend. - A web-based app called Dine-in. This app was created to connect a user to different types of restaurants based off of the type of cuisine they were looking for and the location they were in. Users were also able to favorite restaurants, create a newfound restaurant, accompanied with giving it a review and a rating. This app was built with a React frontend and a Rails backend. - A web-based app called Album Rater. Users log in with their Spotify credentials and are able to search through albums based of name and or the artist name. After albums are populated on the screen, users are then able to write active reviews on albums giving them ratings and blog posts and have them appear in the live forum section. This app was built with a React frontend, a Rails backend, and Spotify is the API I used for the album data. Show less
