  I worked at the 5-star Marcliffe Hotel in Aberdeen for a summer to gain experience, I had to greet people at the door, help them check in/check out, polish the brass, make tea, set up tables/rooms for conferences/wedding. I also had to collect and wash glasses at the bar, and I have been shown how to serve various drinks.

  QA Tester

  For six month I was a QA tester for TT Games testing the handheld and console versions of LEGO Marvel Avengers. My duties during this employment included playing though the game on various platforms, finding as many issues as possible and reporting them to the development team to be fixed. At the time of writing this I have reported over 900 bugs and logged in over 150 hours in overtime.

  For the past year I’ve been QA tester for Betdigital testing on multiple digital slot games on several different platforms. Responsibilities: Building, installing and configuring builds among various systems.Using reporting tools such as Jira and Testrail to log and document any testing bugs. Creating and following test cases till they met a legal and functional standard.Working closely with Developers and Artists to help them achieve the best possible work.During my time at Betdigital I have found over 2500 bugs and worked on 35+ different titles. While I enjoy my work and feel that it has helped me improve as a technical professional, I am ideally looking to return to traditional gaming as that is where my passion lies. Show less
