  William H. Rogner was born in North Carolina on January 14, 1965. "Bill" was a 1987 honors graduate of the College of Business Administration at the University of Florida. He went on to UF's Levin College of Law where he graduated, again with honors, in 1990. While at UF, Mr. Rogner was a member of the Lambda Chi Alpha social fraternity, Florida Blue Key, and the UF Law Moot Court Board. After graduation Mr. Rogner practiced briefly with another firm before founding Hurley & Rogner, P.A. in Orlando in 1992. The firm, now known as Hurley, Rogner, Miller, Cox, & Waranch, P.A., now includes six offices throughout Florida. Mr. Rogner became a Florida Bar Board Certified Workers’ Compensation Lawyer in 1996. Three years later he achieved Florida Bar Board Certification as an Appellate Lawyer. He continues to represent employers, carriers, and servicing agents in an active trial practice. In addition, he has handled over 400 appeals addressing myriad legal issues before the District Courts of Appeal, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeal, and the Supreme Court of Florida. Mr. Rogner is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell and he is annually recognized as a “Super Lawyer” by Thomson Reuters. He was Chairman of the Workers’ Compensation Section of the Florida Bar from 2014-2015. In 2018, Mr. Rogner was inducted into the Florida Workers’ Compensation Institute’s Hall of Fame. Mr. Rogner is a founding board member of Kids’ Chance of Florida, Inc., which provides college scholarships to the children of those seriously injured in workplace accidents. Mr. Rogner resides in Orlando with his wife, Carmen. His daughter, a second-generation Gator, is an associate at HR LAW. His son is a recent grad from UF’s business grad school. Bill is an avid traveler, gardener, golfer, and sailor. Show less
